Laura wins Gold Award for her song, 
Winter Don't Own Me in the Jazz/Blues Category  2007 Mid-Atlantic Song Contest
No Easy Way was a finalist the Jazz/Blues Category and Scenes From the Ave was
a finalist in the Open Category.

These songs are all on Laura's CD,
Scenes From The Avenue due out in March. 

Laura will perform Jan 21st along with other award winners as a part of the IMT music series as a benefit for the Songwriters Association of Washington. See "shows" for details

Laura recently had the opportunity to sing
Our House for Graham Nash during his recent trip to DC where he performed at the National Cathedral Peace Concert. She  had the special honor of teaching him to play the song on the guitar (he has always played it on piano)!
